Your Professional Success

- a project focused on developing youth's career and life skills -

“Your Professional Success” is a career guidance project aimed at high school students. Starting with the 2020-2021 school year, it has been developed and implemented by Junior Achievement Romania with the support of Nestlé Romania and creates educational contexts that allow students to gain a clearer vision of their future profession and the steps they are advised to take to shape their professional careers.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The project’s objective is to help students develop their knowledge and practice the life skills needed to make informed decisions about their future. Educational activities such as applied learning and project-based learning, which are based on dialogue and case studies, personal development and career guidance webinars, as well as job-shadowing activities, facilitate direct interaction between students and company volunteers and prepare them to enter an ever-changing job market.

EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

Designed to support young people by providing useful and up-to-date information on the steps needed to achieve professional success, the project’s activities – carried out with the voluntary participation of Nestlé Romania consultants – aim to:

• create educational and economic contexts that reflect current realities and contribute to preparing students to become future adults and employees;
• offer applied learning and project-based activities, focused on dialogue and case studies;
• encourage youth participation in personal development and career guidance sessions;
• foster interaction between students and business professionals, to help youth navigate the transition from school to the workforce more smoothly.
