YSBE Net
Ongoing Project

YSBE Net is a project co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program, with a duration of 24 months. The consortium brings together 7 international partners: JA Romania, JA Cyprus, JA Bulgaria, JA North Macedonia, JA Albania, JA Montenegro, and Merci Charity Boutique, with the shared goal of strengthening youth education in the field of social entrepreneurship.
The project’s international scope is expanded through the involvement of two additional partner countries, JA Turkey and JA Serbia, which will participate in international fairs and the online hackathon, contributing to the exchange of best practices and increasing the diversity of learning experiences for young people.
General objective
The project addresses the growing need to develop social entrepreneurship skills in the participating countries, with a focus on strengthening the capacity of youth organizations to implement effective, sustainable programs tailored to the local context. YSBE Net contributes to the development of a new generation of young leaders capable of devising innovative solutions to social, economic, and environmental problems.
Key activities
- Needs assessment on social entrepreneurship – to identify specific needs, gaps, and existing opportunities for social entrepreneurship in each partner country.
- Development of dedicated educational resources – tailored to young people and youth organizations, focused on understanding social entrepreneurship and its practical application.
- Integrating content into an online platform – in the form of a digital course featuring interactive learning experiences that are accessible across national borders, to facilitate the participation of as many students as possible.
- Training of Trainers (ToT) program – to train JA staff, teachers, and youth workers to effectively implement educational resources and facilitate learning processes focused on social entrepreneurship.
- International events for high school students – through the organization of two international fairs and an online hackathon in the form of business competitions, where young people can present their business ideas in the field of social entrepreneurship.
- Mentoring and networking – through interactions with business professionals, to increase young people’s chances of turning their ideas into real initiatives.
YSBE Net aims to create a sustainable ecosystem that supports youth organizations in developing their institutional capacity and helps them become true centers of excellence in entrepreneurial education. The project promotes initiatives through which high school students are trained as leaders of change, capable of actively contributing to the sustainable development of their communities.
By strengthening capabilities at both the organizational and individual levels, YSBE Net will foster youth engagement in social innovation processes, encourage transnational collaboration, and contribute to sustainable economic and social progress in the region.
